Creating a personal profile page
There are two ways to create a personal profile page on the Mobile Connect wiki.
Clicking on your username
After creating a user account and logging into the Mobile Connect wiki, your username will appear in red under the website banner at the top of the page.
In order to get to a personal profile page, simply click on your red username to create a blank page to edit as you see fit with your bio, photos and area(s) of expertise.
Using the browser address bar
You can quickly create a personal profile page on the Mobile Connect wiki by using the browser address bar.
Pages on the Mobile Connect wiki use the following format:
http://wiki.mobileconnectevent.com/index.php/PageName (where "PageName" would be replaced with the actual page name)
If go to the address bar in your browser and enter a URL that conforms to the above format, substituting your first and last name in CamelCase for "PageName", then hit "enter", you'll create a blank page to edit as you see fit with your bio, photos and area(s) of expertise.
Proper etiquette
Since Mobile Connect is a community of people who generally want to get to know each other, it's better etiquette to select a url for your personal profile page that reflects your actual name rather than an alias. For example, the event organizers picked the following personal profile urls:
